Shot Composition : the way you arrange the shots in the video.
Wide Angle : point of view with a 45 degree angle or more.
Low Angle : point of view with less than 45 degrees.
Close Up : zooming in.
Extreme Close Up : zooming in too much.
Linear Editing : when one video is copied from another; old form of editing before computers were available.
Non-Linear Editing : when the footage is edited in the software and can be brought back to the tape.
Live Editing : when you edit the footage live.
Narration : giving an overall concept of the story.
Documentary : re-creating an event.
Fiction : fake
Non-Fiction : not fake.
In the video Sweet Potato Stir Fry, there is a lot of close up in the video because it's a video about how to make a meal. It is non-fiction. I'm pretty sure it's non-liner editing.
In the video Mixed Martial Arts Goes To School there are a lot of close up and extreme close of shots because it's a video on martial arts. There is also narrations and it's non-fiction.
These videos can be found here : http://video.nytimes.com/
In my autobiography, I'm going to use narration, and non-linear editing, and it will be non-fiction.

Video Compositions
In my Interactive Journalism class we were told to go to www.nytimes.com and watch some videos. I watched a video called "Out Of Work In China." The video starts off with a shot of the Chinese citizens and chattering in Chinese. The narrator soon comes in and starts narrating the story. It shows a lot of them in line, waiting to get paid for their jobs and close up shots of a Chinese woman stamping papers. The shots are all very steady. There are interviews with good spacing of the person and the background features which evens out. In the interviews there are voice overs of people translating Chinese into English, too.

NY Times Online
NY Time's Politics section online is an interactive place. On the middle right of the page, there are multimedia links of the presidential win of Obama. There is an "electoral shift" map, where it shows how people shifted more towards the democratic side this year. There are also stories from each state. Including the reaction of people from Selma, Alabama(one of the emotional centers of the civil rights movement). There are also pictures from around the world where people show sympathy towards the win of Obama. There is also an interactive timeline of McCain's and Obama's lives and careers.

BBC Online
BBC Online is an interactive website. It has stories from around the world, adds, weather forecast, radio stations, and even a search bar.
On the "Brazilian Grand Prix" article, it's talking about how Lewis Hamilton is now the youngest F1 champion, and how the race went. There's also an article of quotes that Hamilton said, an article about people's reactions, a place to interact about the race, and a photo section. On the side of the page, there are some tabs to all-things Formula One. Such as inside the car, car guide, drivers.
